I guess that as good as explanation as any. How would Kifirin know that Tory would transform? Also the only reason Tory handled the situation is that Griffin showed up from the future to help with the Ra'Ak and later as a heal/transform Toff; how would Kifirin know this (I know he is a demi-god, but...). Zellar chose to run instead of fight so that helped them be able to come thru victorious. Kifirin has shown up when she was just threatened in the past and this incident seemed no different then other times. i guess that's all I'm saying.

Alright! I was just rereading Blood Reunion and caught something. Not sure if it's a typo or what but...

Lissa has just gone back home from the Grey house ceremony for Trik because she felt something was wrong and all the Green Fae are dead and they have just found Corent wandering around and Lissa has called Karzac in to check him.

OMG. Half elemaiya? Is that right or was that supposed to be half fae? That would explain some things about Corent. Did anybody ever catch who Corent's other parent was? His mother was Rain right?

So what does everyone else think? Typo or CLUE????

Of course it's not impossible that Corent is half Green Fae and half Elemaiya … after all the Elemaiya are rather free with their seed and apparently very fertile. One actually staying in one place long enough to mate with a Green Fae would be more of an exception than an impossibility.

One of the reasons why I enjoy rereading Connie's books. I'm always picking up something I didn't get the however many times before!

I wonder what is going to develop from his Elemaiya half? I think we've seen a little of his talents. But seeing as this was kinda on the sly and not spoken about in other books, Corent will probably surprise us in the future.

Well, it was always said that Corent is half-fae but if I recall correctly never that the other half would be human.
