Okay, I am rereading (no I am not saying how many times) this series and will be posting what could be the actions of the opposition. You all are welcome to post things you think fall into this category as well ... just remember no quoting sections of the book(s) ... we WANT Connie to sell more copies ... that way we get more books (-:

Also I should point that I could be completely wrong as well ... so don't forget to have fun.

- Marzi & Edan - serious attitude problems, murder, child abuse, etc., seriously can you see this getting overlooked without "help"?

- Addah - What guy is going to basically disown his only "grand"daughter ( 1 of 27)? Personally in his situation I would treasure her as my daughter and let Edan hang.

- Master Vyn - Edan 2.0 - pattern of behavior too close to be coincidence.

- Seems to not be active on Mandil (at least acting against Reah).

- Norian - I'm on the edge with this one, I am not sure if it's Norian being influenced or him just being a total prick ... /shrug.

1) Do we think Kirifin was opposition influenced to do what he did to Gavril and Reah? It would have to be someone really up there, almost an opposite Mightly or nameless? Yes what Gavril accomplished is good. However, the way Reah seems to see it, her Chash is gone and she is left with someone who doesn't support her as he did. So, a support post out was knocked out for her.

2) Also, Auri is gone alot and hasn't been there to support her. Another possible situation influence?

3) Tori and his behavior towards Reah and the baby before the tragedy. This would seem normal for a young couple, but is it?

1) a - Kifirin, no I don't think he was influenced, but you are welcome to disagree with me I don't write the books (-:
b - There is The One and the Three ... the Mighty are it at that level ... the rot developed below the Mighty. There are a lot of power levels between the Mighty and the Nameless ones (all of this is from the books not conjecture).
c - I am holding my opinion on Gavril until I hit that part of the book again.

2) I don't think the Saa Thalarr or Spawn Hunters are being target at the moment ... that could change.

3) New father syndrome mainly, in my opinion, a lot of guys seem to lose all their sense during their wives / mates first pregnancy.

Glinda's inaction seems strange to me, and I would have thought that Lissa would have defended Reah a lot more than she has. Both of these ladies seem to be acting somewhat different than in the Blood series.

That could also be due to us seeing the story from Reah's viewpoint, we are not seeing everything from Lissa's point of view as we did in the Blood Destiny series.

You could be right, we will have to see as we progress (-:

Actually, It looks like something happened between Reah and Glinda in the five years between Demon Revealed and Demon's King. I say this because Reah mentions a knife Glinda gave her (which Gavril still has at the end of Demon's King.). So, maybe there was some easing of the relationship? On Lessa, I am wondering on that. I was surprised she didn't seem to be there for her son's wife at the loss of the baby. She really feels for children, so I would have expected a stronger response. Even her confrontation with Norian seemed to be not what I would expect.
