Well, it's nice to see that Reah can kick Norian & Lendill to the curb.

1) Marrying royalty = grounds to leave alliance service.
2) Tory & Reah are mated.
3) Tory is royalty on both parental lines.
. a) Mother - Lissa = Queen of Le-Ath Veronis (direct descendant of the Queen)
. b) Father - Gardevik = Head of house of Rath = Brother of King (makes Tory the King's nephew).
4) Lissa recognizes High Demon "claiming" as marriage (Kifirin & Garde) ergo Reah is her daughter in law.
5) Reah has meet the condition to leave alliance service.

Of course this brings up an interesting point - if Norian knows this and has not acted upon it does that mean he can be prosecuted for it?

I think if everyone accepts Lissa's marriage with Kifirin & Garde (which seems to be a given), the precedent is set. Thus the claiming and agreement by both parties (Reah & Tory) is all that is or should be required. Of course this is my interpretation you are welcome to disagree =).

I think this is correct, so I am curious what Connie might say on this or if we are missing something.

Yeah but they are not in charge of the alliance army and they have their own set of rules. Every world has their rules and must abide by some alliance rules to join but as far as their army I am thinking they might actually need jump the broom. As we have seen before with the whole Shadow marriage debacle laws are interpreted to suit from planet to planet so what go on Lissa may mean nothing to others. Now I am sure Norian can just give in but the question is will he.

The bigger question is does Norian really want to piss Lissa off ... he might just find the entire ASD dumped on Wyyld ... with his ring stuffed ... well we will leave that to the imagination.

i am sure Lissa could have them officially married in a matter of seconds =).
