I am paraphrasing khadill barely leaves his kingdom I remember reading because if he did he would have to choose a successor. Maybe he felt his other sons are'nt fit for rule. Lendill mentioned how he was tormented by his brothers; he felt it was more than sibling rivalry.
But he also said that it was a brief move and allowed because it was Lendill's heir.
I can totally see your connections - so it will be interesting to see how it shakes out. I don't get the feeling Khadill is going to be ready any time soon to step down.
