Don't you think his new superior the darkest star would have something to say about that. And given that he is Connie's favourite character at the moment (obviously as she has a bigger role for him in the god wars). Also another thought because Kifrin has been demoted does that mean lissa is now superior to Kifrin or has she been demoted too!!!

...that could be a possible catalyst for the God Wars and would explain why Lissa is absent in some of the snippets.
Connie explained a while back on her face book that Lisa is away on a task. I love the new Blood double cover though, don't you? Very nice.
On Kirifin, I agree with robbytonk, with his new power supervisor who can take away Kirifin's powers, not sure how much bad stuff Kirifin will do. Though that is the question, how much could Kirifin get away with his new watcher?
Lots of speculation with very little information ... I like it ... lol.
1) Since male Larentii take their mother's name and add "gar" as a suffix, it might be reasonable to guess that female Larentii take their father's name and add "lar" as a suffix. Hence Shanalar is a daughter of Shanagar (sticking to the single suffix otherwise after a few generation you would have an opera instead of a name).
2) Who ever said that Kifirin was demoted? It was only said that he now has an overseer to ensure his actions are in line ... and that he is now prevented from messing with Reah. He is no longer High Lord of the Dark realm but that does not mean his power was affected.
3) Have you noticed that the balance is still being maintained?
- As the High Demon females increase so do the Larentii.
- As the Dark races are restored so are the Light races.
- As the Dark side gets another "god" (Lissa), so does the Light (Reah / Edward / Renegar).
- - Could be 3 part time gods equal one full time god.
- - Could be more Dark gods are coming.

Ouch Larry you're making my head hurt more dark gods omg but you're right it didn't say that Kifrin had been demoted just that he was going to have a supervisor to prevent him interfering in the affairs of " mortals" hmmm I can just see Kifrin with a boss he he! If h hasn't been demoted however can you see him complying with lissa's 200 year separation edit
Yes, I believe he will comply with Lissa's wishes. In the grand scheme of eternity what is a couple centuries? I can see Lissa relenting if he pulls his head out and makes serious amends with Reah.
As to the dark gods, it's Connie's universe I'm just making WAG's ... lol.
