In the days BC (before Connie) the greatest author of fantasy was John Bunyan. My favourite is 'The Holy War'. You can find it free on Gutenberg.
Devil's advocate here: Kirifin is the King of Le'ath Veronis as he proclaimed at the end of Blood Royal (when everyone was deciding what parts they would plan in the new government). I still say since Teeg was revealed as a Vampire King, and he is Reah's husband, then he is the Demon's King.
