I was thinking about Reah's mates. Now we can all agree that Reah has some sort of prophecy power. My question is when she said she lost two mates, we know she meant Tory and Wylend but now she no longer has Wylend and Radolf. So what I'm wondering about is did she lose Tory or did she lose Radolf that day because Wylend was no longer there to manipulate his feelings? Just want to hear what someone else thinks.
Ooh, that is an interesting idea. Thinking further on Radolf, he was manipulated, but I thought that Reah loved him and (as far as we know) her feelings weren't manipulated. Although, Reah asked Radolf where he came from and called him a gift, perhaps she realized he was in some way different to her other mates. At least she still has Fes to cook with.
As much as I hate to bring it up ... we were told that Lissa's superiors have been in contact with her ... we don't know what they they told her to do / not do ... nor exactly who they are. So as much as Kifirin is a popular whipping boy right now (through his own fault) don't get tunnel vision, Connie has more twists and turns in her plots than a family sized bag of mini pretzels ... lol.

Was reading over everyones insightful post and I have one thing to add, Garde is a pompous ass most of the time but in the scene just before Kifirin takes Reah for Tory's Thifilathi, Kifirin folds into the discussion Garde, Glinda, and Jayd are having just as Garde says "I don't know. Do I have something against Reah?" To which Kifirin replies "Not intentionally", so that would indicate that Kifirin messed around with Garde also and who knows who else.
