so Connie said she is putting both destroyer and demon king out on the 14-15th but which should we read first? destroyer is the last of ashes story but do we need to read it first so we understand demon king or does destroyer have nothing to do with demon king?

these two books are separate. You won't see a real connection until Demon's Dream, #6 in that series :)

I also did Destroyer first then Demon King. I wanted to finish off Ashe's story just in case he popped up somehow in Demon King.
