This may have already been covered and I missed it. Just wondering, why would the Spawn Hunters not have the ability to kill a Ra'aK?? Or because of mind speech the Saa Thalarr can arrive in a micro second so the Spawn Hunters would not need the ability?

Here's an addendum to the previous answer--Spawn Hunters don't have a large animal as their alter-ego as a general rule, and that is the only way for them to combat a Ra'ak. The only time a Spawn Hunter gets the alter ego animal is if both parents are Saa Thalarr. Drake and Drew have it because they are Dragon and Devin's children. Justin, Adam and Kiarra's son, also had it (Gold Wyvern). Justin eventually became Saa Thalarr, and Drake and Drew's older brother, Dragon Taylor, is Saa Thalarr. It is likely only a matter of time before Drake and Drew are asked to join that elite group
