Fair point re Lendill's position but it does seem that he is overly harsh in his communication with Reah unlike when he communicating with Ry and Tory. But to be generous until we get more from Lendill's perspective, I won't write him off yet.
1) I don't think Lendill is a mate in the true sense because Reah has not/might not accept him. However can we be sure that Lendill himself believes he has a M'Fyiah with Reah rather than just doing what his dad has said he should do? I am cautious as his emotions have been more guarded in respect of Reah, unlike Wyeland, for example.
2) I think he can redeem himself if he makes the effort but it will be an uphill struggle for him. The fact that he is motivated by the 'greater good' may help to change Reah's opinion of him but only once she starts being less afraid.
I cannot remember that Lendill is as mean in his dealings with anyone else as he is with Reah. Even her family get better treatment from him. It is like he is a little boy who punches the little girl he likes because he doesn't know what else to do.
Lendill may want to be one of Reah's mates and he did propose . However don't think Reah is willing to even consider him after the way he has behaved and treated her. Plus, I think Reah is experencing overload from so many males displaying thier emotions towards her. I am wondering how Reah gets out of the marriage to Teeg??
Who says she wants out of that marriage???? We still don't know much about Teeg yet. Another thing I have been flipping through every Vampire in all the books on earth and I am stumped... I do think Teeg is from earth...<eyeroll>
Differences of opinion is what makes the world go around. You could be right and Reah does not want to end the marriage. She certainly is/was attracted to him. Teeg sure looked like he could be from Earth. With the ability timeline jumping around, who knows? I guess we have to wait and maybe get further answers about Teeg and Reah in Demon King. Has anyone heard a ETA on Demon King?
