Personally I think it's a bit premature to think that the RD series is over ... we all know (or should by now) that a little thing like death is not going to get in the way of the story. There were several hints of more to come, more unfilled promises, and one really big clue there's more to come. :-)

Was that the casket that contained Quin that Breanne put what we think is some version of Corinne, or was it the casket that is currently in the Avii castle and that we think contains the Heirs Ring? Remember, there was a book and a ring in there too. I think the twin wizards are going to get a shock when they finally reclaim the casket and get it open.

No - I am absolutely positive Corinne is NOT Quinn.

The coffin w/ Breanne at the end held a Karathian warlock who was distantly related to her (and Lissa and Griffin) and who would have been the birth father of Corinne when she reincarnated as a Karathian herself. However - "something" went wrong, causing him to die before his daughter was born.

I'm guessing this is the coffin which is currently (haha - using that word here is weird, but you KNOW what I mean) in the cells of the Avii dungeon. Not sure how there is a body hidden under where Barc's body was held in stasis....but I suspect Deris and Daris are expecting to find the body of the Karathian male that Breanne turned to particles, and will be quite suprised to find...whoever Breanne put there.*

(* - my guess would be Breanne managed to put the Karathian incarnation of Cori there, thus her reference to "Changing What Was", no matter how difficult. Important note: A Karathian Cori is NOT a Laurentii Cori - and, therefore, cannot be held accountable for the crimes Kal was going to execute her for. She also can now be paired up with Karathian Ilya, while still having access to Belen, Bekzi, Garrett, etc., etc.. Hooray loophole!)

Robby - I'd say that's not a safe assumption ... Bree replaced "this" warlock with another. I don't think Quin is a warlock.

Peteyg - RD (from book two chapter four) is Reincarnation Drug "instant reincarnation".

I am willing to accept the consensus that the "body" that Breanne replaced in the coffin was not a Laurentii Corrine and where and when the place is I am assuming will eventually be revealed my original reasoning for suspecting she may also be Quinn was formed in part because Connie's response to my comment on the book on Facebook and she indicated that Spell Breaker first couple of chapters will deliver more shocks. Aargh we will have to wait till October for what her devious mind has in store for that.

They way I read it, Bree took the doppelganger Corrine left in the Archives and placed it in the coffin, hinting at Changing What Was. The doppelganger would have been the Larentii version of Corrine, no?

And I also understood it to be the coffin in Avii castle.

There's a hint, also, that Corrine knows how to fight the Black Death plague thingy that's causing so many problems in the First Ordinance arc.

The reason why I think that the arcs will merge is because Corrine was very careful to go back and reset earth and eliminate the existence of the drug and the program. Yes, Connie is devious, but I think in this case, tying the whole thing to FO is where that comes in. When Bree does her thing, it will allow Corinne's character to remain, but tie back into the larger Universes.

Of course, this may all be off base, but it does seem to tie in.
