Speaking of other series being connected.

At the end Matt is fired and told to fake his death and get off world. Opal was going to be given a choice to stay but he said he had other ideas for someone to take over watching over the Earth against rogue gods.

I was just curious if he might have meant Lexsi, it would give her a good excuse to visit Earth when really it's not her world at all, and would explain why she was in California in the snippet.

Okay, I know... it's a major reach and probably dead wrong... She could be there for other reasons... but...

Just looking forward to the new demon series and thinking it probably ties in, otherwise she wouldn't have had to get the other stories posted up first.

Just a quick thought if by any chance Corrine is bought back by Bree as a Laurentii would the Laurentii council really demand her death. They know she separated her own atoms effectively carrying out thier sentence. Therefore if Bree who is one of the five that now are the mighty has seen fit to bring her back would they go against her wishes, also her solution effectively put right a situation that wasn't supposed to happen . Corrine was obviously supposed to be reborn as as a Laurentii at some point it's just that the drug caused it to happen in a time and place it wasn't supposed to happen.

Perhaps, but since she undid the damage it would make sense for Bree to put her in the life she is supposed to be having now. Karathian's have an extremely long life, so just 400 years in the future I am going to assume she should still be Karathian at that time and with her mate. She can be a Laurentii in a fifty thousand years or so, unless she doesn't make it to old age...

But yeah, I get your main point. I doubt the Laurentii would kill her after Bree went through the trouble of changing what was to save her. I'm kind of pissed Kal would kill her too at the end of the book. So much for just the mind cloud making him a jerk.

When reading about the warlock in stasis in the box I immediately thought of Wylend's older brother Welland who went missing during coup of the King of Karathia and that the two rotten warlocks who are desperate to get the box opened because it will guarantee a change in kingship for Karathia. Hypothesizing - if it was Welland, then he was supposed to father warlock Cori who would then be related to Lisa and Bree. Therefore, Bree put Cori into the box after getting rid of the warlock so she could be there for time when Corrie and Rafe will be needed and getting back to a more original time line. lmao so convoluted and just my thoughts.

Kyler,

I think you hit the nail on the head. I with you on your theory.

Kyler wrote: No - I am absolutely positive Corinne is NOT Quinn.

The coffin w/ Breanne at the end held a Karathian warlock who was distantly related to her (and Lissa and Griffin) and who would have been the birth father of Corinne when she reincarnated as a Karathian herself. However - "something" went wrong, causing him to die before his daughter was born.

I'm guessing this is the coffin which is currently (haha - using that word here is weird, but you KNOW what I mean) in the cells of the Avii dungeon. Not sure how there is a body hidden under where Barc's body was held in stasis....but I suspect Deris and Daris are expecting to find the body of the Karathian male that Breanne turned to particles, and will be quite suprised to find...whoever Breanne put there.*

(* - my guess would be Breanne managed to put the Karathian incarnation of Cori there, thus her reference to "Changing What Was", no matter how difficult. Important note: A Karathian Cori is NOT a Laurentii Cori - and, therefore, cannot be held accountable for the crimes Kal was going to execute her for. She also can now be paired up with Karathian Ilya, while still having access to Belen, Bekzi, Garrett, etc., etc.. Hooray loophole!)

Got it on my mind to change my ways, but I don't think I can be anything other than me.

At least we now have a time frame to put it in the timeline. It has been confirmed that Cloud Rebel took place 28 years after Ashe and Star Cove left.
