JD, this timeline is simple … compared to some of the books.
1) Torturer is dead, Breanne (Love) is taking care of the twins.
2) Star Cove is being built, Ashe (Strength) is growing up.
3) That leaves one Mighty operating at full strength … could be Wisdom … lol.
The only time bending that seemed to be allowed here was Darzi and Kifirin, even the Larentii can't bend time here due to the timeline intersection.

Larry is it me but I get the impression that someone Acrimus or the general are trying to change the result of the godwar. Or isit that we are seeing thier actions to attempt change the timeline in Blood Finale as seen from the then younger members of the Saa Thalarr.
By the way Connie has said she is seriously considering calling the 3rd book Laurentii and son with an as yet undisclosed release date but there are 3 books to be sorted first.
my comment on the time line was directed toward Kiarra's being a singer in the 1920's yet she becomes the 1st among the Saa Thalaar and has been for 15000 years, yet she is raising Justin in the present day (well before Star Cove, but after Lissa's earth years) I thought Lissa's time as Queen and the God wars took place only like 300 years in the future (could be remembering wrong). And why go into the past to raise Justin and why to Earth and why this would not affect time lines in the future. Just Saying...
There is probably some logic to it. I decided that even if there is a mistake (gap) somewhere it can always be explained.... they're Gods involved after all and a hint that history is being re-written again.

I think they are saying that Charles is Kiarra's father. That is the conclusion that I came to.
The timeline with Kiarra and Griffin is that they went back in time when they became Saa Thalaar. Griffin ended up living more years that his father (reference in one of the Lissa books).
It also seems that Kiarra and Adam moved back in time to live in Fresno when Justin was 4? So they lived in Fresno several years before the Book 1 happened. That is a strange twist. There are references to Kiarra being hurt in Fresno at Justin's school and Merrill and Franklin visited them. Is this a reference to what happened in one of the God Wars?
Also who is Thorsten's maker? Did we learn that in one of the God Wars books?
I thought at first that since we knew a lot of the people in this book and it happened before (in time), that it would not hold any surprises. I was glad I was wrong. I am not sure though that I would like to live in a world or be a god responsible for its well being if people can travel the timeline and history is rewritten a lot. Too hard of a job!
